Thedi via Thurston Bros. - any advice for a newbie?

Good evening gentlemen,

I'm looking to get my first proper custom leather jacket made. I'm thinking of going with Thedi through Custom Bros.
For those of you who've already been through the process, do you have any advice?
What are some things you wish you'd known before getting started? I don't have a ton of experience, so any tips or things I should keep in mind would be greatly appreciated!

My own exp with Thurston was not a good 1. I ordered a jacket from Thedi with 2 requests that I was assured would be possible.. a right hand zipper amd NO embossed leather with logos.. i paid the deposit and when the jacket came in thurston customer service told me that those requests were not honored.. obviously not acceptable so I cancelled thru my cc and ordered ditect from thedi.. order direct whenever possible
