For my wife and I “Swingin” was one our songs back in ‘83.

We've been singing "Black Sheep of the Family" around my house since I was very young. My father still to this day enjoys saying "We was swangin'".

John Anderson had so many other great songs beyond just his hits. He was a terrific writer and a wonderful voice. He blessed my life.

RIP, sir.

Elke Sommer passed away today.

Awww. Another beauty passes.
What I always admired about Elke was that she was a polyglot. To me it’s still unclear exactly how many languages she spoke fluently (6 or 7) and how many additional languages she had a working knowledge of. (Fluent is a bit of a subjective term.)
Anyway, more than a pretty face. Rest in peace, Elke.

Dang. Two crewmembers in one week. That's rough.
