Seems now would be the perfect time to put in an order with els, pick it up on your trip, and bring it back duty free.

Idk why but every time I remember the lightning, I picture you in it.
It’s funny you mentioned that. I was literally just on their Instagram page

This may be the most ****** leather jacket I've owned(at least up there with the Peter's on my list of cool patterns), such a cool design that you don't see everyday :D
Also, the leather on this jacket is AMAZING! I don't know exactly how old the jacket is but the leather may be the finest I've ever handled on a vintage jacket, crazy good stuff.

The fit is also bang on in my opinion :) I love the length of the jacket(the front drop is *chef kiss*) and the trim fit, all while having great mobility :D

*My ****-eating grin tells it all how much I like the jacket, and as usual sorry for the trousers, I really need to start using my iron haha

My really quite lovely woodland M65 today, from Golden Mfg. Contract number puts it around 1995, so it's quite a recent jacket and it has the plastic zip.

I say recent, but it's still 30 years old somehow. Which makes me feel pretty old myself, all of a sudden.

Anyway, the fit is great I think. Exactly how I'd want a "proper" M65 to fit.

No liner in this one, and I may not even bother getting one as it's super warm anyway. Warmer than previous examples I've had from other makers.

I'm actually over the moon with this as we don't have a lot of choice with these here in the UK, and this was just £25. I had to replace a mangled snap fastener at the front, but that took all of two minutes with my little kit.

Also, I've broken out my old Triumph Motorcycles t shirt again. Giving myself permission, as I've bought another Triumph motorcycle. So it's allowed.

For n old jacket, it sure is in amazing condition. I was looking at very similar jacket but it is not nearly in as good of a condition as yours. Can we see how the back looks like?
