Which fits better? Comparison Buco J-24 new and old style (sz.46)

Hey guys!

I have had a Buco-J24 (new style in size 46) for a long time and was never really satisfied with the size. It was always a bit too loose for me, too boxy.

Now I have found and bought a 46 in the old style here in the forum (thanks again to Daniel and Julius ;))

I think It fits better (even enough room for a pullover under it) but I would like to hear your external opinion on it. What do you guys think which one fits better?

And please excuse my serious expression, but with the warm temperatures today in Germany, trying on was not very pleasant.

So, here are the photos:

I agree that the old-fit J24 fits you better than the new-fit one. It's a little hard to tell without being able to the see the waistline of your pants. Of course, the old-fit size 46 is more similar in sizing to a new-size 44, so it's not necessarily a fair comparison of the two fits. That said, the new-size J24 is said to be boxier, with wider arm holes. I imagine preference for one fit over the other comes down quite a bit to body shape.

Very hard to tell for me. Are you going to be wearing it with those clothes underneath? It kinda looks like a pajama to me. The jacket simply looks terrible no matter the size or actual fit.

I'm not a (fit expert)...
I like them both though.
After more pics, I like the second one. Looks to be shorter body length.

Haha :D You´re right. I should have chosen a different shirt.
No I will definitely wear better fitting shirts. I will make new pics. Gimme 10 minutes.

Here you go, new photos. This time also with an attempt of a smile ;)

And yes, what can I say. Now I even really notice the difference again and I clearly tend to old fit. Note: Never make fitting pics with your "home cozy dress" :D

Old fit looks better - just overall sharper and hangs better - I also have an old fit Sz 46 which fits well. I think the 'new fit' RMC J24s are much more true to size, so if I were to get one I'd go for a 44, 46 would be too big in this fit, whereas in the old one it is not - if that makes sense - if I were guessing I'd guess that the same paradigm may apply to you.
