The bottle opener of my cheap supermarket swiss pocket knife works very well, too. Not bad for a Tchibo pocket knife!
I have one and carried it years ago. FYI On mine, the guards loosened up on that pin until the blade wouldn't close proerly without manually adjusting the guards. That can probably be fixed to tighten it back up and take the play out of it, don't know, did'n't try. Just passing along for awareness. But it is a beautiful knife.I pre-ordered this Case Cheetah cub from Shepard hills cutlery back in January and just received it.
it's going straight into my pocket so I can start building up a good patina on the blade.

a cheetah cub or full sized cheetah?I have one and carried it years ago. FYI On mine, the guards loosened up on that pin until the blade wouldn't close proerly without manually adjusting the guards. Full size I believe. The knife is in a drawer. I carried it probably 20 years ago.a cheetah cub or full sized cheetah?
these were discontinued for a number of years, just brought back from their pattern vault for 2026.
tightening the pin eventually is something I can definitely do.
it would be a nice ***stock lockback with the guard removed if I wanted to do that, but then there'd be a hole in the blade.

There definitely was a time when that was very true, and I still don't leave the house without two pocket knives. One is none, and two is one.I had a friend who said her daddy told her a man wasn’t worth a d*mn if he did not carry a pocket knife, I think you are on to something with this one!
