I like what you did with the brim. Is that slight dip in the middle intentional or the result of natural wear?
A bit of both to be honest. It started with pulling the front of the brim down a little when adjusting the hat on my head but then I’ve gone and deliberately accentuated it a bit based off of the way a lot of the open road/stratoliner/comparable hats look in vintage photographs
It’s how I bring a bit of my midwestern farmer heritage to the uk without wearing a full on cowboy hat

Just exquisite Mark, an air of effortless sophistication, the brim, subtly snapped to perfection, casting a soft shadow. You have nailed it, and I just love that shirt. I think that I might have just found Tina's next project!

The vest, shirt and trousers are a previous Tina project, made to compliment the hat. She is a talented lady.

Pulled on an old, well traveled Stetson Moose River today. I did a ribbon brim binding a while back and that fixed a wobbly brim problem. ( brim stays straight with a little extra structure) I had made up a 1/2" ribbon fr it, but Ive been thinking of doing a slightly smaller 3/8" ribbon with a campaign bow. One of my longtime favorite "lesser" hats. Havent worn it much this year so its probably due for a little blocking and maintenance to sharpen it up a bit.

P. & C. Habig Wien "Special Zefir", possibly mid 1950s. Specially made for Carl Kellner, Hamburg, Germany. I really like the Tracht influenced Form plus Bow design and the contrasting brim binding. Also fantastic pliable light weight - light gray felt. I found this Soft Felt in 2013.

"Chapeaux - Habig" French Market advertisement stand for P. & C. Habig Wien, possibly later 1920s. It's missing the rear fold out stand. Great portrait! I found this advertisement stand back in 2016.

Thank you, Robert! I greatly appreciate your kind words, and I hope Tina produces something wonderful for you. (Honestly, I doubt she has EVER failed to do so!)
