I decided to wear my Hornskov Diamond to mark the occassion. Here's wishing them a happy anniversary, and may they have many more.

J. Hückel´s Söhne / Jaques Mayer "Standard", Brim 3 1/2 inches, Crown 6 inches, excellent condition, possibly late 1920s. This is a collaboration with Jaques / Jacques Mayer Hutfabrik (Hat Factory) Bratislava. This is a truly unique Soft Felt that I found in 2016 and one of my finest finds.

I particularly like the wide ribbon and bow treatment. What a brim width, too. I don't recall seeing so wide a brim on a Homburg of that age.

Steve, Thank you! It's Homburg like but because of the width of the brim there is less Flange. Also the Sweatband is wider than any other JHS Soft or Stiff Felt Hat I have encountered. I believe this Soft Felt was a special request by Jacques Mayer, Bratislava to JHS. It only has a Jacques Mayer, Bratislava paper label. Really Fantastic Hornskov Diamond from you today! Great Form, Felt Color and Finish! The Brim treatment is cool!

Thank you guys. It is one of my favourite hats.

The quality workmanship of this Danish hatter, along with all the other modern day bespoke hatters, bodes well for the future of our much loved head wear.
