I don't know anything about cars , could you elaborate?
Well a 911 is 3-4X the price of a Boxster. And has a better reputation. And is seen as a more prestigious car. However that splits opinion. Therefore my analogy stands, that’s how I feel about comparing them both. Fact is, they’re both good…

Yes, that's what I thought.
I had the opportunity to see the Aero in real life, then I received the Rugged West jacket.
I couldn't compare them side by side, but Leilah's jackets seemed just as beautiful in my memories.

Sorry, late to the party so this has probably already been covered. I like the look of the ‘Trojan’ model but would want it in a more classic aviator design. Could I customize with a button coin pocket and delete the belt loops?

Truly beautiful
What kind of leather is it?
As per the webpage it comes in the teacore steerhide which is ~1.5mm thick. So unless the customer specified something else I think that's it.
I'm also getting mine in this leather.
Leilah confirmed that the jacket should be finished tomorrow and that she would send me some pictures. Hopefully send the jacket out to me as well if everything looks correct to me.
Fingers crossed!

I own aero and rugged. My crude comparison/analogy would be:- Aero = Porsche 911. Rugged = Porsche Boxster.

Good idea...I would take this a bit further.

An Aero or other heritage only style ... is like having a classic or antique car. They don't make em like they used to, and there is nothing else like them. A lot of great aspects you cannot get anywhere else. But of course also some drawbacks - might be a little trickier to live with, potential design flaws that were refined out decades later, and if something breaks you better find a specialist or fix it yourself. No crumple zone, few warnings. Its something you get into as a hobby, and know what to expect.

Maybe not the best entry for someone off the street.

The RW is very approachable, like a modern car. Not much break in, easy to live with, A lot of refinement of old ideas and modern ideas. Of course, its just not the same thing as that classic. Maybe not as ******** or focused.

For someone new or off the street, I would never recommend a classic car - too much can go wrong, they may not know what they are getting into; "I ordered 4 oz chromexcel steerhide why is it so stiff and heavy". Just not the experience the average person is looking for. Rugged West - more affordable, and is going to blow them away compared to the fast fashion they are used to. They are going to feel 200% in that thing.

Seems like laziness, belt loops were pre-cut and likely used across sizes, they should have cut shorter loops given the XS sizing on this one.
D pocket and loops both need to shrink. Building on extremes of the size chart is a challenge I’m sure and standard sized “bits” won’t do any better on a 52” or a 34”.
It’s the very first thing I noticed. Not trying to be a **** but that’s just plain f’d up.
