Hello there everyone.

I’m attending a wedding in the summer. Sort of relaxed formal dress code.

I have no use for a suit jacket so I thought I’d pair a lovely pair of MTM suit pants and classic shoes with a good white shirt and a suede jacket. Yes, you guessed it, I’ve just found myself a good excuse to buy another jacket.

I know nothing about suede/nubuck jackets.

I’m long in the arms and quite thin for my height.

What should I take a look at first ?
Is a Baracuta G9 any good ?

Newbies here, I'm really like the look of Freewheelers Four Corners, I saw Rainbow Country have something similar looking for the 1940s jacket. I'm wondering what's the general name of this style of jacket if I'm trying to search for vintage? Or if anyone have some recommendation for similar alternatives?
Thanks in advance

Not an outerwear question, but a boot question.

I have a pair of CXL John Lofgrens- am I good to wear them in places they will get stepped on a lot? I often go to busy bars / clubs and have been avoiding wearing these boots there (the last time I wore them to a bar, someone spilled some beer on them, leaving them with these discolored spots).

After that I only worse them during the day, and not in the nights. If I wear them again in places where they will be stepped on, drinks spilled on them etc. will they be fine? Or will they start to degrade?

For context I usually don’t baby my things, but in bars / clubs it the one place I’ve always been more careful

IMO the oil-infused CXL is extremely resistant to stains and scuffs.
The biggest worry I have is I have some other boots (admittedly not CXL, and more casual stuff), where the top leather start to get scratched / scuff and you can see the fibrous leather texture underneath e.g. you can see the suede inside. To me that suggests, that the boot is going to be a lot less durable, and is something I want to avoid with these boots if possible
