Nothing like the first ride of the year. Wore the JL in honor of the late jacket master, Mr. Johnson. It's really sad when we lose an artisan in the jacket world. It just seems like there are less up and comers to replace the true masters.

Johnson Leathers truly makes a great motorcycle jacket. Thier 500 pattern is right up there with the best MC patterns. It just works on the bike. Mid 40's in Cleveland today with just a t shirt underneath. All the wind is sealed out and plenty of mobility. I am sure Mr. Johnson had his fingerprints on the 500 series patterns since he was a rider himself.

I got it from Yahoo auction last year and the seller didn’t specify it in the description. When I received it, I found it in surprisingly mint condition
