Today went to "test drive" this wool hat I got (still thinking its the cheapest felt made by FEPSA since it's a "Merino quality").
Undecided if to wear it brim up or down or if I try to iron it flat.
Funny thing is that it doesn't seem to be so hot like my other hats...

Looks like a bird bath that way, but looks better than having the brim turned down.

...then again, the reason you bought the hat was for its historical and traditional aspect. You might end up liking it just the way it is after a while.

GD, JG - thanks for comments on the Semi Calado. I'd been checking in with Art for quite a while to see if he had a body available. This is now my second summer with it and it is a super hat for warm days.

I haven't worn this one in a while. Seems to be a little too hot for Summer wear. This is my paint can / bubble wrap poor man's hat conversion. It came out really good though. My Black Resistol Stagecoach.
