From 1937's First Lady when Walter Connolly's younger, mid '30s and already twice-divorced wife calls him old and tells him she wants a divorce:

She: I never should have married a man so much older

He: Well, you're not so young yourself. You haven't been able to look up a telephone number for five years!

Several nominees:

Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday in Tombstone

"I have two guns, one for each of you."

"Nonsense, I'm in my prime."

(back and forth)
"Wyatt is my friend."
"H***, Doc, I got a lot of friends."
"I don't."

Sam Eliott in "We Were Soldiers" at the fight by the anthill when they were almost overrun (and a gent I go to Church with landed there on the second day):

"Gentlemen! Prepare to defend yourselves!"

"

Sam Elliott's two best roles: Sgt Maj Plumley in We Were Soldiers and Virgil Earp in Tombstone.

This exchange takes place during the Vendetta Ride. Doc Holliday, weak from tuberculosis, starts coughing violently.

Texas Jack: "Doc, you ought to be in bed. Why the hell are you doing this anyway?"
Doc: "Wyatt Earp is my friend."
Texas Jack: "Hell, I got lots of friends."
Doc: "I don't."

Probably my favorite quote, and maybe the most poignant, of the many great quotes in the movie.

From Avengers: Endgame...

"Everyone fails at who they're supposed to be. The measure of a person is how well they succeed at being who they are."

From the recent movie, The Highwaymen:

Frank Hamer: "I'm sorry, Gladdy."
Gladys Hamer: "Don't be. I knew what you were when I married you."

and another from Gladys, as Frank is preparing to drive away in her new Ford V-8:

"Something else, if you're covering miles, keep oil in her."

I thought this was an excellent movie, especially in regards to the relationships between the main characterss, and this parting scene was well done and hits home with me. What a woman - she certainly has my respect!

An American in Paris

Jerry:
That's, uh, quite a dress you almost have on. What holds it up?

Milo:
Modesty.

Oscar Levant (Adam Cook): What are you so glum about?

Jerry Mulligan (Gene Kelly): I got woman trouble

Oscar Levant (Adam Cook): Well, that proves you're a man
