Stan: "Dad, Mom says stop trying to give yourself cancer."

Randy: "Stan, it's just a little cancer. Tell Mom it's okay."
South Park has a wealth of great quotes, both safe and NSFW.

A favorite that comes up around every four years is "I learned that I'd better get used to having to pick between a douche and a turd sandwich because it's usually the choice I'll have."

COP: Was there anything of value in the car that was stolen?

Jeff Lebowski: Um, a brief case.

Cop: Was there anything of value in the briefcase.

LEBOWSKI: Um, papers, just my papers.

Cop: What kind of papers?

Lebowski: Business papers.

Cop: What kind of business are you in Mr. Lebowski?

Lebowski: I'm unemployed...

"But you have no right to call me a murderer. You have a right to kill me. You have a right to do that... but you have no right to judge me. It's impossible for words to describe what is necessary to those who do not know what horror means. Horror. Horror has a face... and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies..."

Sean Penn as Spicoli after he wrecks the Trans Am:

Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill you and he's gonna kill me, he's gonna kill us!
Spicoli: Hey man, just be glad I had fast reflexes!
Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna shit!
Spicoli: Make up your mind, dude, is he gonna shit or is he gonna kill us?
Jefferson's Brother: First he's gonna shit, then he's gonna kill us!
Spicoli: Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

Her walking/dancing out from behind the bar is an almost constant loop playing on the screen in my head.

That was a hilarious scene. Maybe not the best scene of the movie ;), but that was a funny one. In fact, most of Spicoli's scenes were pretty darn funny. I can't help but think of a young Joe Walsh (from the Eagles) and some of his shenanigans when I'm watching Spicoli.

I know what you mean. I’ve never been a fan of Sean Penn overall but, he nailed the part of Spicoli. I laugh so much watching that movie.

'You're about as romantic as a pair of handcuffs.'

Debby Marsh (Gloria Grahame) to Dave Bannion (Glenn Ford) in The Big Heat (1953).
Grahame is really, really good in that role.
Y'know, I recorded The Big Heat on our DVR way back in May purely because so many Loungers have commented on it, and I still haven't watched it. I think I need to correct that some time soon.

From This Land is Mine, 1943:

Professor Sorel: Children like to follow a leader, and there are two kinds of leaders today. We seem weak - we have no weapons, we don't march, except to air raid shelters. And our heroes are called are called criminals and shot against walls. The other leaders have guns, tanks, parades, uniforms. They teach violence, self-love, vanity, everything that appeals to the unformed minds of children. And their criminals are called heroes.

These books must be burnt. Very well then we'll just burn them. We can't resist physically, but morally, within us, we can resist. We contain those books. We contain truth. They can't destroy the truth without destroying each and every one of us. We can keep the truth alive if the children believe in us and follow our example.
