Excellent reproduction by Eastman Leather Clothing.
This jacket originates from the late 1990's and was made as a U.S. export model, so one of Eastman's earliest versions; you could say vintage!
At the time of manufacture, genuine A-1 jackets were extremely scarce, so this version features referenced details which differ slightly from originals, such as the larger front pockets and roomier sleeve widths.
The original A-1's were constructed in soft Capeskin leather, but this one is made in high quality Steerhide leather in a beautiful russet brown, which is extremely robust and has attained a fabulous patina over an almost thirty year period.
The shell is in excellent condition throughout with a few small marks here and there.
The knits appear to be the originals, with a couple of nicely repaired darns on the inner waistband and collar (see photos).
Otherwise, all original details have been faithfully reproduced, including correct knits and horn buttons.
The lining is hard wearing cotton sateen which is in excellent condition throughout, with no odours.
Size is Large/XL/46 chest and comes in at this size for a loose fit. It's probably a closer fit for a 48 chest.
Eastman jackets can be a tad smaller than the label size but this is pretty exact.
All measurements in inches:
Pit to pit: 26
Shoulders: 21.5
Sleeve: 26.5
Back: 26
Waist: 24
