Interesting to see how watches becoming more and more of just 'a piece of jewellery'. And yes, I do wear a watch, even though I have a smart phone. I also try to wear smaller (and thinner) watches when I wear some of my jackets, especially those with wool cuffs. The bigger watches with metal braces also wear the leather coatings on the sleeves pretty quickly as well.

Never been a problem for me, but I expect that's down to the kind of watches I prefer. I don'tg tend to like the bigger, more modern watches with lots of sharp edges. I am fond of expanding bracelets, but to date never had a problem with those snicking on anything.
