Love this as a rain coat/shell, but I bought a size that's a bit too restrictive for me . If they restock them, I'm gonna try to grab one of their parkas. This type of fabric is very dry to the touch.

Been out hiking in heavy rain for hours at a time with it on, even up to .75 inches/hour of precipitation, and never had water seep through. I don't have much experience with other waxed cotton makes and treatments, but as far as I can tell, it's a fantastic fabric.

There are some small highlights in the fabric where it's been sharply creased, but it doesn't take long to disappear as the wax settles. Since the inside of the collar has gotten some direct spray, a bit of the wax treatment has migrated to the fabric, as shown in the pics. There are no other signs of wear or damage.
