What's for Dinner?

Last night was veggie burgers, madras lentils, fresh green beans and mushrooms. Tonight I will have revenge on that dinner w/boneless ribeye (well north of 1LB), pan fried red potatoes, corn on the cob (it's getting there) and a salad or slaw. I will wash it down with the first beer in a month, Spaten.

Hubby ordered in lunch earlier this week, and got something called a "bumi bowl". The description was yakisoba noodles, spinach, broccoli, grilled steak, and teriyaki sauce. This is my recreation of it for tonight's dinner. Very tasty!

Camilla Red Bean aren’t available where I live, so I ordered a half dozen bags from a place in Louisiana. Made red beans and rice last night...

The kids are with me for the weekend and the weather is fantastic so I lit the grill and cooked burgers and hot dogs.

Grilled tri-tip steak, garlic-and-butter sauteed mushrooms, grilled zucchini (for Hubby), and steamed broccoli (Lily & I). Trying to do more veggies and less carbs.

Local family-owned Mexican restaurant. Pork chile verde burrito for me, chicken chalupa for Lily, and a beef crispy taco/beef enchilada combo platter for Hubby.
