Hubby's fond of collards, but kale.... eh.

Thanks for the reminder about sausage. We have a few rings of beef sausage in the freezer that we brought home from our last trip to Texas. They're from our favorite bbq place in Luling - City Market.

Yes. Kale in the mash. I chopped it up like parsley. They ate it. Well, hubby covered it in gravy that had onions and mushrooms in it, and Lily did her required 5 bites ('cause she's 5). But they ate it.

And I gave him the leftovers for lunch today.

Was planning a big kale-fest of a dinner, but then it got late so I just went out and picked up some pizzas instead. Pepperoni ones. $5 each at Little Caesars. Good thing, because my kids eat a lot.
