The real feature tonight was dessert. Home made applesauce made with new crop crisp tangy apples, craisins, sugar, molasses, nutmeg and a hint of cloves. With a scoop of French vanilla ice cream.
Just put up two bushels of fresh, roasted green chiles in the freezer (one more bushel to go!), so of course I had to put a pot of green chile on the stove for dinner.
Key element here was the "bacon" word! LOL~ Sounds like what we eat however....yummy for the tummy...and adding to the size of the waistlines.....yipes!!!!
