Had a "one of those days" today, so...nothing but a bland quick meal of frozen pizza (well, oven cooked) with some green beans and a bowl of oranges sliced up and grapes and banana...sound tart but actually is nice for a change from "pie".....

Nice part of how yummy meat loaf can be...if you make enough for some left overs, making a sandwich using fresh home made bread the next day...heaven!

I love some meatloaf, and I love some leftover meatloaf sandwich as much as I love it hot on a plate. When the wife or I (usually me, she's not as big a fan) cook it we always make an extra one to go in the fridge and slice up for sandwiches the next day.

I make enough meatloaf to stick some slices in the freezer for a future meal or two, and that usually means a few pieces in the fridge for sandwiches, too. Our whole family (even the 4 year old) fights over meatloaf sandwiches!
