I had them all the time as a kid, too (probably because they were dirt cheap) and I honestly was thinking of you as I ate these. I've never tried the tastyKake ones, the brand has only been in this area a few years now, but they were pretty much everything I remember about the other brands. Their little powdered sugar covered donuts are addictive, and the dollar store by my house sells them in one pound bags for about what two 6 packs of them cost at the Exxon across the street.I'm jealous, I grew up eating those (several different brands, same basic thing), but for some reason, the supermarkets in NYC don't carry them.
Those cheap bags of powdered sugar donuts are my crack cocaine. Especially the cinamon ones. I don't buy them because I can't stay out of them.
Who doesn’t?^^^ You need more bacon.
So you're saying you just tip the sack up and funnel the sugar into your mouth then?Being more mature than you - I've never, after having scarfed down the last donut in the bag, used a spoon to scoop out the extra sugar at the bottom of the bag. Nope, I'd never do that.
