DPD, I've always thought my SIL's hair from the perm thread could look just like Viv's if she'd only let me try. I'm so envious.

Ok, I've shared this pic here several times I'm sure, but here's another chance... I put a bunch of modern and different colors on Viv once and she looks good in anything! Any faves men?

I don't see any real difference from that to your avatar (assuming that's you in the avatar?). [huh]

You can be blonde, brunette, or raven haired...as long as you are a red-head in the bedroom.

Or something like that.

Oh, you are a naughty one. I like you! :p

Naughty girl! And here I was going to name you the Ladylike Chippie.

I am the Ladylike Chippie! Why I haven't said anything off color yet. ;)

Like Bette Midler once said: "I have standards, they're low.....but I have them."

I would think a chance to look like Viv would make any girl high maintenance, but my sister (who is a girlie girl and has amazing hair) doesn't like to put in the effort either. I'll have to check out the pictures later. I can;t see them at work sadly. :(

Vivien is my inspiration but I don't think I'm there quite yet. I'm glad to know I am close though.

Well I have always been naturally raven haired- A few yrs ago I started to have a blue kicker thrown in for extra shine and depth- I always loved Veronica's blue/black hair from the Archie Comics!!

I've gotten no complaints... ;)

I love bluue/black hair. Back when I was dcoloring mine I could never get it blue enough.

Right now I'm using a semi-permanent dye (which, strangely, lasts longer than the permanent blacks without killing my hair) that makes it a little bit blue, but only in the sun. It's good enough for me -- the permanent dyes made it more blue, but the blue only lasted about a week before fading.

I used to dye my hair with a black henna and indigo mix, and that gave me blue-black hair as well. Henna fades pretty quickly, but it's so much better for your hair! I stopped using it because it's too messy and requires a lot of work, which won't work for me when I'm living in a dorm. Indian beauty salons do henna too, if you don't want to get messy at home.

I was also a redhead for a while (see avatar), but it was too much of a pain to maintain. The red I liked faded so quickly, and the bleaching was very damaging.
