Pretty straightforward...

How does this work?!
... Just enter the exact title of the magazine and the word "subscription" into search and see what comes up. Most sellers handle both renewals as well as new subscriptions. It usually takes 2-4 months for it to reach the publisher, so don't wait until the last minute.

I've been doing this for a couple of years now and haven't been burned once. And, as you can see, the savings are substantial. Only magazine that now needs to be renewed in this household is InStyle and I'm waiting for a good bargain to show up.

THOUGHT: If by your question you meant: "How come such a steep discount?" I think it mostly has to do with publishers wanting to boost their circulation.

That was what I originally meant, but the practical information is useful, too, of course.

I have to admit that I have hundreds and hundreds of old car and airplane magazines that go back to even the 40s. I don't conceive of any value of them except to me when I drag them out every couple years and read things like road tests of 1955 Chrysler 300s when they were new:)

Do comic books count as magazines? I mean, The Fantastic Four still has the tagline: "The world's greatest comic-magazine!", so I guess they do.

Here we go!

Batman
Detective Comics
Superman
Action Comics
The Creeper
Wonder Woman
