What is a pristine Eastman Roadstar worth?

Any advice on how i can photograph it to best show its honest condition. Id then leave it to the group to decide what i should price it at. I'd go with consensus.

You can safely assume that the people who know about Eastman, should be able to assess the condition of the jacket, regardless of the (quality of the) photos.

Eastman is still somewhat of a niche brand. It certainly isn't nearly as famous as the Real McCoy or Schott which is why you'll rarely see their jackets being flexed, even though Roadstar isn't a cheap jacket by any definition.

Just take good, clean photos of the jacket under plenty of light, laid flat on the floor.

But like I said - None of these repro jackets have been around long enough to be considered as truly worn. After about one week of wear, the jacket will look just about the same for the next 5 years - Provided it hasn't been made from leather manufactured to age prematurely - so "pristine" doesn't really mean much in this context.

If you are going to be selling it, photos matter more than you think and can mean the difference between $650 and $850.

For instance, recently I bought this high-end designer piece that was listed for three months in this omega-niche, circle jerk Discord channel I belong to that has 15 active members, all of which know every atom of every piece the brand in question produced by heart.

It turned out to be too small for me so I re-listed it at that same channel for the exact same amount of money I paid, only that I took much better photos of it and it sold within 8 hours. Person who bought it was a member of the channel who even commented on the previous listing but for some reason, my photos changed their mind immediately.

Just take a clear pic of the jacket,a pic of the zip insertion pin to show any wear and that's all that's required. This jacket will sell easily, but I don't think it would be worn for serious motorcycle, daily wear.it most likely will go for posing, hipster types who like a nice looking cross zip.And there's nothing wrong with that.i would buy it,but it wouldn't be my go to jacket for riding.

Take good pics. Try for the light to hit the jacket from the side to accentuate its three-dimensionality and shadows. List for $1000, settle for $800 if you must. Not less. Screw the lowballers, tire kickers, and deal-seekers.
