You can probably get about $900-1000 if it's new, but if you want a quick sale expect it to fetch $600-750.

My 44 is currently with Dena getting a new two way main zipper so the amount that I have invested in it is going up a bit (haven‘t gotten the bill yet). Usually I just try to break even on any sales I do here at the Lounge. If I’m able to get the 46, I’ll try them both and keep the better fit of the two. The Roadstar has generous shoulders a fairly dramatic taper. I could find that the 46 is a little big.
If we’re really talking “pristine”, I think a bit more than half price is reasonable. We’re all friends here, right?!

Somebody else may be able to afford more. That was just my ceiling on this jacket (sight unseen) based on the eBay bidding and end price of my own 44. Don’t worry, Is the rule on here you only give “friends“ deals but never get one?
I wasn’t attacking you. To offer a “deal”, one should first have a notion of value as in market price.

Your price seemed fair to me for an on the spot offer. If the OP wants to list the jacket and wait for the right buyer he may get more, but sometimes a quick sale works for everyone.

There is pristine and then there is (as) new which are the only two categories these repro jackets fall under. If it looks new, ie. doesn't have creases, you should be able to get $1000, give or take a $100, depends how quickly you want to move it.

Criminally undervalued jackets, especially on the used market. Seeing it in person in the store, I was shocked how stunning it actually is but it's just something that you can't photograph.

I’ve bought and sold a few Eastman jackets over the years, both ELMC and military ones. I love their products.
Near new or gently used ELMC jackets tend to sell between USD $650 and $750.
Less than $650 is a good deal for the buyer and over $750 is a good outcome for the seller.
If you’re prepared to wait a while you might sell it for $800, but consider yourself very lucky if it happens fast.

Being more of a Schott Perfecto guy, the main zip seems a little on the small side but I never had any issue with it despite the jacket being bit snug across the bottom and putting some pressure on it. I bought a sweet #8 Riri two way to replace it, thinking it would buy just a little wiggle room fit wise. Unfortunately, Dena couldn’t use it so I’ve got a two-way #10 going on which could potentially look like a little much on this jacket.
I really like the Roadstar. More roomy through the shoulders and chest than my Perfecto 613sh in the same size 44. Much more dramatic drop to the waist. I’m usually complaining that most size 44 jackets are too wide across the bottom…not the Eastman.
It’s also quite a bit lighter in weight than the Schott but the horsehide doesn’t feel too thin and the jacket still has a motorcycle riding authenticity about it. Thinner liner also makes it not quite as warm as the 613sh which should extend the wearing season into the summer. This is the first jacket that I’ve invested in with a repair or tweak but I really liked it and felt going up a size to fix the waist fit could make things too big elsewhere. I’ll post a pic when I get it back with the new zipper.

Where'd you find it for sale? Been looking for a 44 myself but none have come up here or on eBay in some time!
Of course if for whatever reason you end up wanting the 46 instead I'ld be happy to take the 44 off your hands! Will be interested to see how it looks with the new zipper.

They don’t seem to come around very often. I just looked at the history again and the one I bought on eBay was listed with a buy it now for $625 (I thought it was $650) so I jumped on it. I’ve never seen a 46 listed anywhere that why I tried to at least get an offer in. These are cool jackets!
