What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Now that I shave my head I buy 7 3/4 and let it settle in a little to eventually fit somewhere between 7 5/8 > 7 3/4. I've been riding motorcycles for decades and remember going into a m/c shop to buy a helmet years ago before my hair ran off. I was alone and looking at what they had in stock and noticed that each time I'd look back toward the sales counter someone would already be looking my way. At first I thought they were just keeping an eye on inventory and then I realized...

They were wondering if anything would fit.

So yeah, your buddy needs to shave his head and all will be solved.
Have you seen his hair? He’s like 50 and still killing it in the hair department. That stuff ain’t going anywhere lol

This Borsalino had been lost in a box, marked with a sticky note bearing the name of a prospective buyer—someone who has since vanished into the vastness of the world.

There were two others, also by the same brand, which I restored after years of neglect.
This is a "Mahogany" (Mogano) Borsalino, featuring a long-nap felt finish.

While it wasn't crafted during Borsalino’s "golden age," it is—as you can see—of excellent workmanship and quality. It is unlined, making it lightweight with a medium-weight feel.

Whenever I come across these semi-modern Borsalinos, I find myself asking: who actually made the felt?
The hat’s color was chosen to evoke the hues of autumn leaves.
Thank you all for the likes and kind comments regarding the "Western" style hat.
Have a wonderful day, and keep sharing the great hats—I look forward to seeing more!
VERY stylish, Daniele! Reminds me a lot of my Lock & Co. melusine.

This morning a Stetson Stratoliner (sage hued felt) was my fedora choice for a dog soirée.

A Stetson Stratoliner (silverbelly) was my hat choice for filling the birdfeeders.

Daniele posted a fabulous long hair Borsa and it prompted me to pull this Locke & Co long hair from it's spot and show it off. This is the most beautiful long hair in my collection but unfortunately it doesn't fit me very well. I wear a size 7, 56cm and can sometimes wear a 57, but not this one.
* I find myself needing to let go of a few of my hats to make room for new finds so I listed this one along with several Borselinos in the classifieds here at TFL.
Last Pic shows all the hats listed lined up in a row just for attention. Lol.

Open Road time today. long oval 3x embroidered liner flavor

I got stuck at Little America for three days in a storm years back...I was lucky and got a room, but it was still miserable just walking to the restaurant. Really felt sorry for the drivers that were there

My company pays me inclement weather pay. It's not the same money as driving but it's not nothing and I enjoy hanging out in the truck. I've always got tons to do when I'm not driving.

I had a Little America elk burger just the other day!

I have a couple but I never wear them unless the temps are in the teens. Even then, I'd rather wear earmuffs under a full brim, silly as that is.

Oh, thanks for the reminder! I'm gonna have to figure out how to order a couple of these. Is the website down or is it just me?
Contact him with Facebook or give the shop a call.
