Now that I shave my head I buy 7 3/4 and let it settle in a little to eventually fit somewhere between 7 5/8 > 7 3/4. I've been riding motorcycles for decades and remember going into a m/c shop to buy a helmet years ago before my hair ran off. I was alone and looking at what they had in stock and noticed that each time I'd look back toward the sales counter someone would already be looking my way. At first I thought they were just keeping an eye on inventory and then I realized...

They were wondering if anything would fit.

So yeah, your buddy needs to shave his head and all will be solved.

Have you seen his hair? He’s like 50 and still killing it in the hair department. That stuff ain’t going anywhere lol

I've got a Charles Knox that just came in as a 7 5/8. I'm trying to shape it back up, of either of you gentlemen are interested.

This dude has a truly enormous skull - unfortunately that really would be two sizes too small.
