Optimo Lord's Hat from last night. I always forgot to get the crown interior shot when my wife is taking the photos for me. We think this is hilarious, by the way, especially when people drive by while we are trying to do our little photo shoot. Or my wife thinks it's hilarious - maybe that's it.

I went back out this morning and got the other shot, which is just as welll because it is a better representation of the actual color of this hat.

Coffee hat of the day is a Silverbelly G U N club Stetson. Not really sure exactly what it is but the tag says the model is a RDMRB-R ( if anyone speaks Stetson and knows what that model is just let me know). Super nice felt in what Id call a medium weight. When It came to me it was missing the hatband, and had a crumbling finish on the sweatband. I got lucky and the crinkly finish scraped off really easily. Left me with a custom suede sweatband lol. Recycled a used skinny Stetson leather hatband with tiny buckles

Today…having had a Lounge spiritual re-awakening and drinking some of the Lounge Kool Aid i thought a go to hat was appropriate.
A pretty old Nutria Quality Western that has always been there for me.
Hard to capture the dark chocolate hue. It sports one of my all time favorite embroidered liners with The Horsey Man.
I love all those old Stetson embroidering days.

Agree on the embroidered liner Stetson hats. Two thumbs up on the herringbones... Origional or repro? Ive got one set from an Uncle during his Para-Marine days many moons ago. In my days were were all sateen green. The whole time I was in I only had ONE pair of cammies at the end...

Stetson - Mayser "3X Beaver Quality", Date Stamped 12/27/58. Mayser started licensing and making Stetsons in 1954. The Side Dent type plus location were popular in the time period. The Band / Bow color (can't describe it) works great with the Felt color and Binding color. Overall quality + plus workmanship are of fantastic. I found this Homburg Hat back in 2009.

Rick, not sure how pliant that sweat is, but if you can unfold it a little more, the bottom half of the paper tag, right where it seems to be split, is where Stetson used to list the full model name, instead of the abbreviation used on the top half. I think I see the first part as being "Road"?

"The Horsey Man." I like it!! I refer to it as the "red shirt cloud of dust" graphic, and I've only ever seen them on the old Nutria Quality hats. Whatever it might be called, it's freakin' AWESOME!
