This one always leaves me wondering. Stetson 3X San Juan. Made in Australia under license. Word is that Akubra made these hats for Stetson and that makes sense. I have 2 other made in Australia under license Stetsons and the sweatband has Akubra style stitching MMMMM . Check this one out.
So, the question is ... who else made hats for Stetson in Australia ?

Echter Borsalino "Export Qualität" "Ecosca "possibly later 1950s. The "Export Qualität" designation was added in the mid 1950s and eventually "Echter" is dropped. This is a "Camber" form which was typical of the time and place. I found this Soft Felt back in 2024.
