Sunday errands in another of the new finds, a custom made from Apollo Hatters of Cicero, IL, Scarface's old neck of the woods. Likely just a neighborhood hater back in the day, we would pay a fortune for a hat like this today from a good custom hater. This one is likely 40's or early 50's based upon who owned the address at the time.

For church this morning my bespoke Susquehana. You could say that my trousers are bespoke too, Tina made them. She took the hat with her to the fabric store in order to get a good colour match.

I am completely overwhelmed, Stefan. I believe you've tapped DIRECTLY into the Fedora Adoration Zone of my brain, and plundered the vault. Every week your showing is a masterpiece, but this week is simply, overwhelmingly, beyond belief. The Morreton wins because it literally takes my breath away, but beyond that, everything else is simply a luxuriously beautiful whirlpool of magnificence. What a post!!!!!!

I am eastward bound again, after a fantastic three week tour of western cities. I've hit Portland, Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles and now Salt Lake City. I am back in the Fed IV for the midwest, but I had a darn good run under the JBS 25 OR.
I am posting a number of hat photos from the tour (and maybe a few without hats). The first two are now.

This morning I took along a Portis Swansback with the Swan's Down Finish that was among the new hats I got in while I was away. A real 1940's feel to this one and an $8.50 price tag to boot for its "Sterling Quality."
