Well. I love the hat but not yet “me”. Feel I need to have spent decades in the Mexican dry lands herding steers to justify wearing it. Also out of bedevilment will post on a style forum occupied by one of the largest gaggle of tolls I have witnessed on forums.

It is a Panamanian Fino in their largest brim and curl. Actually strip the lining out and it is a brilliant hot weather hat as it was designed to be. Now the photographs. View attachment 692739 View attachment 692745

Just my opinion, of course, but I think that hat looks tremendous on you. My compliments of that beautiful jacket, too.

Actually I think this hat frames your face quite well, it looks great on you! Also those boots look real nice as well— which brand? Look like Redwings but not quite
The boots are Grant Stone and they do a solid boot at a reasonable price if you hunt the specials and discounts. Only issue for non USA buyers despite telling you the freight is free when clicking the small print says this only applies to USA buyers. Another small issue is the speed hooks are bit soft and can bend easily. But in all good to price equation proving the limited width range suits your foot. I am EE so the E is a bit tight and the EEE bit wide. The range of leather options are outstanding.

Thank you Mr F-101 (play on your forum handle). Coming from someone with such a collection if great hats I consider it high praise.

The jacket is a strange beast. It rather proves fit matters first as it was MTM from the Jacket Maker and I got my measurements right. I lengthen from standard as I find longer jackets better suit my shape. However the Jacket Maker’s leather is rather not like normal leathers and arrived with a plastic type smell that has gone now. I think it could be the coating finish or the leather itself. Curious what others have found with the brand. But certainly a good style.

Beautiful hat, Joe. Quite a bit of presence.
Adam Majestic today. I believe this is a '40s hat - very comfortable non-reeded sweatband.

Happy Friday hat lovers!

Very nice, Nathan. I like the minimalistic ribbon (if you can call it that), or did it used to have more?
Two Borsa day!
3” brim in a champagne color, “Western Style”. A real light weight.
And a nice taupe…that’s unfortunately too small. View attachment 692733 View attachment 692734 View attachment 692735 View attachment 692736 View attachment 692737 View attachment 692737
Good looking Borsalinos, Randall.
Spring is definitely here in Denmark, Nathan @The Lost Cowboy , but there is still a chill wind in the air.

Ca. 1950s unlined, wide ribbon Borsalino sold at Sools to start the weekend off.

Have a good one fellow Loungers.
Always nice to see a wide ribboned hat, especially if it's a Borsalino.
