Thank you sirVery nice, and paired with a gorgeous jacket!
Great job with shaping!Headed out for some coffee in my new to me Royal Stratoliner (mid 50s). Posted some before and after pics of this one in the Post New Hats thread yesterday but today’s my first time wearing it out. Shaped the brim and crease off of some Great Depression era pictures of Texas cattlemen.
While living right in the middle of London I’ve been trying to strike a balance between not looking too crazy in a big city while still honoring my western/farming roots.

Great looking Adam, Nathan.Adam Majestic today. I believe this is a '40s hat - very comfortable non-reeded sweatband.
Happy Friday hat lovers!

That is one wonderful and unique looking Stetson, Alan.I brought this hat out to photograph in today's chilly Buffalo spring sunshine. It is very difficult to capture this vibrant and unusual evergreen color inside.
The Imperial Stetson 3X Beaver Fifteen (not the later Stetson Imperial) is a pretty rare bird - I've seen only a few surface from the vintage marketplace. This hat was purchased c.1940 from Silverwoods by an older man who passed away in 1943. I learned this from the family when they sold it, in the original box, unworn for seven decades. It displays many Stetson elements that were seen in late 1930s to 1941 hats (note the sewn button holding a wind cord with looped end, narrow 3 panel manufacturing label, lace perforated sweatband with tiny stitches) that would not return after WWII.
I hope you enjoy it. ☀

Looks like the hat a street wise character from Dirty Harry would wear stepping out of a land yacht sized two door Lincoln Continental “bad chariot” from that era resplendent in bone coloured three piece corduroy suit complete with flared trousers. Love the colour as well.Something a little different for me today. Geo. I. Eakle Roma Genuine Velour homburg made on March 14, 1973 according to the stamp inside the leather sweatband. John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Actually I think this hat frames your face quite well, it looks great on you! Also those boots look real nice as well— which brand? Look like Redwings but not quiteWell. I love the hat but not yet “me”. Feel I need to have spent decades in the Mexican dry lands herding steers to justify wearing it. Also out of bedevilment will post on a style forum occupied by one of the largest gaggle of tolls I have witnessed on forums.
It is a Panamanian Fino in their largest brim and curl. Actually strip the lining out and it is a brilliant hot weather hat as it was designed to be. Now the photographs. View attachment 692739 View attachment 692745

Thanks Steve! I hope the Danish spring is treating you my friend.Great looking Adam, Nathan.
I so love the liner.
Both look great. What a coincidence…. Someone posted one just like the first one in another group earlier today. With the same red liner. Two Borsa day!
3” brim in a champagne color, “Western Style”. A real light weight.
And a nice taupe…that’s unfortunately too small. View attachment 692733 View attachment 692734 View attachment 692735 View attachment 692736 View attachment 692737 View attachment 692737
