Older Stetson 3x Open Road friday! Only Light green with rose ribbon that Ive ever had in my hands. Felt is in really nice shape, and its a long oval so its a nice fit. Ive debated replacing the rose ribbon, but the fading has kind of grown on me over time. Other than that I just need to snug up the slightly loose wind cord a bit . One of my favorites

Like many of you, I love to study old photos of hats on the internet. My favorites have always been the vintage mugshots. It's a slow day at work today, so I decided to try to recreate an old mugshot with a new app I have on my phone. The hat is my Resistol Explorer.

Did I mention - it's a slow day at work... Haha.

That's gorgeous, Rick (as is the jacket). Personally I would leave it just as is; I think that ribbon color is awesome.

The hat colour was meant to compliment a blazer in this fabric:



The white stripe is actually a light grey, the photo was taken by my phone, not exactly a quality camera.
Today I should have been wearing a new blazer to compliment the Gamble & Gunn bespoke hat.

A text from the tailor, apologising, meant a grey suit. That is until I remembered this summer blazer.
So disappointed that my blazer has been delayed. But as my lady so succinctly put it: "You will enjoy it all the more when it's done, and to perfection." The delay was due to the discovery of a flaw in the fabric.
