Good to see that one again, Steve. I haven't seen another one since.
That is one extremely fine woven panama. A work of art.

Tonak "Brillant" "бриллиант", possibly early to mid 1950s. The condition of the light colored Velour is excellent along with the all the components. The Velour felt is very pliable and easily dry creases. The liner is really special along with the Russified Tonak mark. This hat was made for the Russian market. The Sweatband mark "бриллиант" is Russian for "Brillant". I acquired this Velour back in 2022.

What a beauty! A rare beast in every way.
It's hard for me to post pics on a daily basis, so I may have to mimic Stefan and post a whole weeks worth at the same time!

Stefan, I know I sound like a broken record, but your weekly recaps make Sunday mornings SO awesome. Thank you. For me, it's the Portis in first, the Berry in second, and the Staalmeester in third.

Woke up with rain and temps about 15 degrees warmer than last night. Going to be a good day to stay inside after I do my morning Coffee run. Thought I pull one of the Stetson James Dean's off the wall today
