Good to see others all suited & booted as we Brits say of a collar and tie appearance. I love the hat and the way it compliments your attire.


It was a collar and tie day for me today, too. We had visitors at work, they didn't see the hat, I don't wear it at the office, the blazer came off too. But how they went on about the shoes that former Lounger SimonC made me.

Can't see what all the fuss was about. By the way the hat is a bespoke, silverbelly look-a-like.

Now a straw fedora like that, oh my, what a hat. Such a hat could see me commit the sin of covet.

Had you told me a couple of years ago that I would have a green fedora, made to measure, for my oversize cranium I would have probably said, "dream on." But how I love this hat. Mind you, Tina wants me to get one made in a burgundy colour, the jury is still out on that one. Perhaps black cherry, we shall see.

I‘m wearing my new Hemp Stratoliner today with a Hawaiian style shirt. Here I am with it at the local coffee roasters. One thing I’ve found is that this hat gets lots of attention and compliments from random people. I’m good with that.
