And now I am wearing my new Churchill Beaver "100" made with Vicuña. It might be misremembering, but the felt in this one is even better than the one in my white. It is just as obedient, but it feels smoother and velvety to the touch. I don't remember that feeling in any of my other hats. Both came with identical leather cases. Making the most of a day off I was up as the sun rose. The Dobbs with a special ribbon treatment got the early head time.

Morning coffee under the brim of a Lee Desert Tone.

I headed to do a pick-up at the airport in an Adam with another unique ribbon treatment.

Yes, I was capped this morning. I completed shopping errands while wearing a
cap.

I enjoyed some grilled sausages, potates and asparagus breakfast under the brim of a Stetson Flagship. Love the combo of fawn hued felt with the Petersham ribbon treatment.

I have started some yard chores wearing a Lee Adventurer.

Thank you very much, Robert. It is indeed part of a suit. I think you'd like it; double breasted, cuffed trousers.

Do I like double breasted with trousers that have cuffs? Is the Pope a catholic? But in this photo the trousers should have been worn a little higher to prevent the wrinkling around the ankles. You might just see that the cuffs are turned up. And just for Max, the outfit is topped off with a Stetson Sovereign.

Saturday afternoon we went for a little hike to see the wildflowers in bloom, I wore my trusty Akubra Stockman. It was a terrific afternoon for a hike.

Then my new "straw" hat for yard work, hanging out around the house and making burgers for dinner tonight. Happy Straw Hat day everyone!
