Akubra Cattleman again today for some wood chopping and clean up of the back yard. Usually it’s the task of my kangaroo leather, but no barbecue smells to worry about today. Also, I’d like this hat to shrink just a little and I understand the best way to achieve that is to work up a bit of a sweat in it.

I’ve also been loitering around the backroom at JJ’s ever since you posted the other Madrid! I’ve maintained my self control so far.

Thanks Reggie. It does have some nice features. The ribbon and bow caught my attention too in the shop. I was doubly pleased when I flipped it over and saw it was a Habig.

Dog soiree this morning while wearing a Knox Westlite. A solid well made hat with an excellent felt. The wind cord came in handy mid soirée as the wind picked up.

Home and putting wire over the emerging bulbs to protect them from animal browsing until they get bigger. The bulbs were planted in the yard this past Fall and I am hoping to have them be annual visitors. An unlined Stetson Playboy was my "chore hat."

A new cap from down under... Keith Lo Bue's recent sale enticed me to buy this one, made from vintage 1950s Jetson-esque silkscreen printed linen. I should have shaved first.
