A Borsalino that I've mist wearing...
I love those Mistos. They are fabulous hats. And, as always, Alan, you wear it well.
A Borsalino that I've mist wearing...
Phoenix pure beaver in Willow:
Every now and then some fans ask me which are the Italian hats that I love the most.
Here is one of those that I would put in the top ten

The reason is simple: it is one of those unique hats or at least that have unforgettable peculiar characteristics

Borsalino Qualità Extra Extra Superiore, size is 6, so a 59 centimeters or a 7 3/8 US. In reality it is a full 60 or 7 1/2 US
"Tipo esportazione" says the sweatband, but there is no other indication. It is one of the rare that came with the original box

The color of the felt is "Cafro" and the type "Deiasti". The paper label is from the Fortys and the size is stamped in some way.

The felt is soft, pliable and a sort of feather, even if the hat has the weight of around 100 grams

What amazes me and I particularly like is the color of the felt which varies between deep red and purplish brown.
The finish is antelope or peachy, as you want to call it. Fantastic

This is one, now we have to find the other nine, or rather eight because the "Aureola" colored Borsalino is another of the untouchables
Nice look Brent

Love that hat, Joe!Stayed with the Dobbs Gay Prince for a visit to Lion Country Safari. A hat that somehow says both safari and style at the same time. A great day with the family.

Looks good up, Steve. I really dig the brim over welt with the bold ribbon and bow.Out and about on this very gray day in the newly acquired P&C Habig. It's such a light hat.
The brim works well down, but I preferred it up today View attachment 322437
That's a beauty, Bill!#1 Quality Stetson today. Helping my son negotiate a new car deal.

Today turned out, unexpectedly, to be a three hat day. First was the Snowy River for car washing duties (see previous post). After Etsuko finished work, we took a stroll in the park to see the cherry blossoms. Just 5 minutes walk from our house is one of Wakayama’s more famous places for the blossoms. I wore my Cattleman.

With the blossoms in full bloom, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant in the park.

I wore my Stetson Custom V and Etsuko a Maxim beret.
