Looking for upcoming entertainment and edification? Check out Brad Bower's, The Hatted Professor coming vid concepts.
I will sit back and enjoy the upcoming content.
In the meantime, do you folks remember this vid?

It appears like they will be posted on YouTube.SO Bard's going to do a series of vids? That's great. How did you access this, from his webpage?
Steve, shall we start a European version of beastymass? Looks good my friend! I miss petting that (my girlfriend thanks you for taking it from my hands)I'm waiting for a bit of sunshine or at least lighter skies to be able to post some hats I recently acquired from Panos @PanosChris.
In the meantime, I'll post this fluffy, green giant of a Fléchet. It's definitely not a stingy. I'm sure I'll never dare to wear it outdoors. Well, maybe on St. Patrick's Day
Like it's previous owner in Oslo, I can't stop petting this one. View attachment 290576 View attachment 290577 View attachment 290578 View attachment 290579

Thanks Dave, me too I like the green, not all the variations, but some. I see your hats covered by snow, it is too much for my taste. Hope it is getting betterThat's a great and unique hat. I love the green!
Thanks Jim. I have no ideas where the "Alexander" was made, but it seems far from English manufacturers. If you have some pictures of the Alexander US made please show, so I can make a confontationHello, Daniele. I own a couple of American-made Alexander hats, though I suspect there is no connection between the two hatters.
Eric Thanks, you are completely right about the felts made years ago. I see your gorgeus collection of Canadian hats with admirationDaniele; The green heathered hat is a puzzle. Great heathered felt in an unique hue. It is a good example of the felts available to hatters during those years.
Joe thanks. I see your collection is growing up day by dayBeautiful hat Daniele... love the felt and the shape
Molto bello. I like blue homburg, this is an elegant oneHere’s a dark blue, mint 40s Wormser burg that I probably won’t forget:

I love this hat! It definitely deserves more head time. You’d be the cock of the walk out and about in that hat!
Sometimes you gotta Turn it UPDynamite blue homburg!
Great pics of a hat at work. Campdrafts do some of their best work in the snow at my house also.
Sharp and an excellent choice to record under.

This morning I wore a 30's fedora whose label is St. Lawrence Hat Co., Brockville, CA. I lead with the pics of the tip label and embossed leather sweat to identify the company.
This one was made in Brockville Canada. Wolthausen owned the factory from 1895 until 1930. Brock was made by the very same Wolthausen Hat Corporation.
Wolthausen Hat Corp also made Brock hats of which I have showcased a couple on this thread in the past months.
On to the hat: This St. Lawrence fedora is a light gray with a definite cool hue. The crown felt is soft and easy to crease and dent.
The bound edge has a bound edge with a whip stitch that shows on the top. I turned the brim like a snap brim fedora. It did not go easy and I have been considering that the hat may have been intended to be worn with the slight rolled edge up. I will start to wear the hat "turned up."
The felt and ribbon work are of excellent work. The unreeded sweatband leather is modest, durable and comfortable. I have another fedora of this hat company that uses a thicker, treated, dyed and smooth leather.
The proportions are of the stereotypical '30's felted hats. The providence definitely places it in 20-30's manufacturing.
Cheers folks. Thanks for allowing my share my St.Lawerence fedora.
