Some strange yellowish orb and blue skies overhead today for the first time in I don't know when. Weatherman said to expect record breaking temps in the low to mid 50s. Today's heatwave called for the unlined Mac Lachlan:

Do not repeat do not stare directly into aforementioned orb. It is a strange anomaly that the northeast is rumored to have occur sometime in the distant future.

Amazing outfit, amazing hat, and some tikka to finish? Excellent! The best Tikka I ever had was in London, it was amazing. I went so much they knew me by name, lol....
Thank you my friend you are very kind! Problem here with Tikka and ethnic food in general is that they keep Norwegian standards for spiciness etc which ends up me asking for extra chillies ...lol

Say that again. My neck of the woods is at a nice 65. I took my Angel Suarez Panama for a walk around the property.

Great hat amigo!

Thanks for sharing so soon Steve. That's a lovely Dobbs homburg ! Unless the crease hides something it seems in very good condition...

Panos, thanks. It's in good condition for its age. Aren't we all .
I didn't show all this Dobbs' petinas. Bob did when selling it. Bob called it a beater. For me, it was better than a beater. As Randy mentioned a couple of weeks back, they're often one of your favourites.
The sweat band was loose, as Bob mentioned and posted photos of. After wearing it today, it completely fell off.
No worries. This is now a part of this almost 80 year olds patinas. Luckily too, it can be fixed. IMG_20200202_141707.jpg

Another beautiful day here, so I was sitting on the patio listening to music and finishing up my ribbon replacement on the Vintage Whippet. Another one with stains that I had to cover up with a 2” ribbon. Had to use Petersham, as that’s all I could find in that width with the color I wanted. Think it turned out pretty good though. I tried to copy a bow I liked that @alanfgag posted on the bows take a bow thread:

Not too bad I think. I tried to hide the threads on the back side:
