Don't worry, Bob. You can wear that hat any day! Very cool.

Well, quite an eventful day. All I planned to do was leave a message at the Doctor's office about needing more meds. Showed up without an appointment. Next thing I knew, they were doing X-Rays and pulling the pins out of my hand! Doctor C. said they were doing more harm than good, letting in the infections. It feels good to be free of the pins, but wow, I'm in quite a bit of pain now. Combination of the infection and the trauma pulling out of the pins. Still have to wear my brace, but so much better. Thanks for all the good thoughts! Bonus picture of the hat I'm wearing to the theater tonight for rehearsal. English Penn-Craft stingy in a velour finish.

I hope that will set you on the way to full recovery, Mike. Sjeesh, that has been a bit of an ordeal. Nothing like petting a good velour for comfort.

Thanks Doug. I think I have a pop up blocker because I've never seen that message.

Great looking hat. Looks like a nice jacket too.

A new one this morning. M.C. Lilley Co from the late 1800s or early 1900s.

Sounds like it might be a reasonably nice day here.
Have a good one,
Michael
I had been meaning to ask you if you had taken the teapot from under it, but that would have been disrespectful. :)
You are a true pioneering spirit where headwear is concerned, Michael. And clothes for that matter. Next level.

One of my very first vintage lids, a 50s Champ that I really like but don't wear too much. It's had a gas bath and some tlc and the felt really is quite nice and velvety for a lower cost fedora from the period.

That Champ deserves more head time, Doug. Really like the colour, dimensions and overall shape of it. Nice looking jacket, too.

Yesterday and today. All black, because black hats need more love (or at least sympathy, cause there's not enough love to go around...)

Fantastic array of black hats, Stefan. Can they be stretched to my size [emoji4]. Love the coats and scarves, too.

Reminds me to organize a misto felt week for myself soon. Beautiful hat, Steve. Is that a misto Grisfer? Never mind: I just read the follow up posting!
M.Tunnel? Is that a name you've seen before, Stefan?
