Thanks, Steve. These seem set in their ways, but I may have something of interest in black. Glad to be able to wear the coats and scarves again.Fantastic array of black hats, Stefan. Can they be stretched to my size [emoji4]. Love the coats and scarves, too.

It's the only example of this colour I've seen so far. Borsalino keeps coming up with surprises like these.M.Tunnel? Is that a name you've seen before, Stefan?

Thanks, Perry. I have promised here to do a comparison of the velours I have. All I need to do that is a wee bit of decent weather. Saw that you aren't afraid of a good black hat either!Nice ones Stefan, especially the velours.
Steve, thank you. It is a nice old one and hasn't lost any of its lustre. A very fine hat.Stefan, Thank you! Fantastic series of hats from you today. Especially great to see the Echter Velour!
Happy Birthday Bama!Legend has it that on this day many years ago a pregnant young woman's water broke. According to legend she then drove her 52 Chevrolet, three on the tree near 30 miles from Gadsden, AL to Anniston where she picked up her best friend and they then headed on to the military hospital at Ft. McClellan where I was born. Thanks, Mom. Miss you.

What did they actually do to your back, Mike? I have major issues, pinched nerves, tingling hands, and a lot of discouraging pain.A much delayed trip to our favorite Hatter in Eugene today... I have not been able to drive long trips due to my back surgery, so a beautiful Ecuadorian straw has been waiting to be picked up. Now it will have to wait until spring for it's debut. Wearing my early 1950s Borsalino Featherweight (Via @moontheloon) for some show and tell with Mike Miller. Looking forward to the trip.
Yesterday was both disappointing and a relief of stress. The pins in my hand need more time to knit the fracture. There was some shattering of the bone, so I guess that is the reason. So I'm all trussed up until the 30th. Since they were just going to yank them out, I was kind of dreading this appointment.
