Just received my Coyote Brown Fedora with a copper toned ribbon from Art Fawcett. I love it! Art you out did yourself. Just in time for the fall foliage.
We attended an interactive Sherlockian play last night at a members lounge. It was interesting but no photography allowed.
That’s a great hat. I’ve been thinking of getting a black fedora myself. We attended an interactive Sherlockian play last night at a members lounge. It was interesting but no photography allowed.

Since I don't own a Deerstalker cap I was going to wear either a Homburg or a Derby, but I just kept hearing Waylon singing in my head:
"This suit and this tie, it's just a disguise
This ain't really me
Some people are born to be tied down
Some people are born to be free"
So I opted to wear a Gannon. Wore it out to feed this morning too but missed the soft first morning light.

Thanks, Ken.Great look on you Steve. Jealous of that jacket weather too. Can't wait to get up into Canada next week.
Thanks. I had to remove my hat during the play but it sat on an end table right next to me the whole time. The play was sort of like a dinner theater play that was taking place all around you instead of up on stage. Like in 3D or 4D.Who did it?
Good call on the hat. That's a fine looking Gannon.
Super looking Fedora. Excellent colour combo.View attachment 188006 View attachment 187994 View attachment 187996 View attachment 187998 View attachment 187995 View attachment 187994 View attachment 187997

Oooooh! that liner is nice. The logo is a story in itself."Great photo Steve. I love the thin lines of that brim. What flavor of Bowler is it?"
Thanks, Mike. I call it my René Magritte Bowler [emoji4]. It's a Collet, Bruxelles. I believe it to be circa 1930s based on its shape, liner, and its history that I have from the seller whom I met in person.

I think there is some sort of mushroom foray this afternoon. May have to rethink my hat choice for that.

Today....a very favorite of mine.
I took a chance on bad pics, bad description and a low price and was rewarded with a Stetson Vita-Felt Stratoliner. It happens.
Be well. Bowen
Ps: thank you all kindly for recent likes and comments i do appreciate them always.
Wonderful Champ, Jonathan. Excellent jacket, too. Love that colour. Very autumnal.

Nice!!!With all the 7X’s floating around I decided to don my 60’s example for a nice fall day.
Beautiful dry creased clay like crown with a brim so stiff it could slice bread.
