Cap day!
Thanks, Ken. No special camera, just my smartphone [emoji4]Beautiful hat. Those are great photos Steve, what type of camera? they look almost 3D on my computer screen.
That's one very nice looking Hückel, Ken.Huckel. German perfection. Thick, soft felt that holds a crease very well. Too warm for the cotton military shirt, switched to a vest for this morning.

Can’t remember what i might have called that ribbon style. It is a unique 6 cord style. Thought i had something similar but i can’t find it.I think Bowen has called that style of ribbon by name before, but I don't remember it. I have a couple without the ribs, like this Penny Towncraft.

Now this is a very cool ribbon and hat.It works well in the transition to a mid ribbon on a Western dress hat like this 3x6 from hatWRKS, Nashville.

Favorite all day every day!
It deserves to be worn, Steve, because it is magnificent!A favourite of mine in the collection, but another one that doesn't get much head time, so decided to take it out on an outing today.
A Carlton Homburg, approx. late 1940s.

Only thing wrong with it is that it's a size too big for me...
C. G. Wilke "Helios" made of Wool and possibly late 1920s early 1930s.
C. G. Wilke Guben Hat Factory, Ink Blotter, 14 cm X 7 cm / 4.5 inches X 2.75 inches, possibly early 1910s.
Thanks, Steve. Very cool bowler on display today. And in such a great condition. I like the detail of the edging they put on the top edge of the sweatband. Never seen that before.Stefan, Thank you! As usual a fantastic series of hats from you today!
That is one way cool straw.Summer celebration for our department today. #AlohaFriday #HatFriday
Homero Ortega semi-calado for sitting around in the AIC's backyard this afternoon.

Thank you, Stefan. I think so, too. It will definitely get more head time this autumn and winter. It deserves to be worn, Steve, because it is magnificent!
