Vintage Stetsonian with the heat and humidity already getting stifling. Hope the A/C is working in church!

Gorgeous hat, Jim. Colour scheme, shape, proportion, everything spot on.
A green hat day today wearing this ca. 1960s Cervo made for them by Tonak.

Somehow it feels odd that there aren't any more Cervo hats around. Nice shape to that one, Steve.

Been going through them, sometimes multiple hats in a day. Yesterday brought Greeley Hat Works Western homburg, and the Stetson fifteen powder blue mode edge.
This morning it’s my Resistol kitten finish. This one is most similar to the one @AbbaDatDeHat posted the other day.

Nice parade of hats. Jeff. My vote goes to the Resistol: ticks all the boxes for me.

Federation IV Tawny Fawn this week.
Some teenage girl refereed to me as Inspector Gadget while talking to her friend in metro. Little she knew, I understand some German.
When I said "entschuldigung" to get off the metro, she had wtf expression on hers and grin on my face.

Wives can be picky that way! Don't they understand that sometimes it's impossible to make a choice?!

Great colours, I'd say. Ken. Gorgeous.
This Akubra Fed IV is so new that it's still wet behind the ears and just waiting to be worn in. However, I can't resist finding ways to wear it.

In a few years, it will be nicely shaped and worn. After I'm gone it will be vintage.

Many years after I'm gone, to my great grandchildren, it will be old and long out worn, but it will have been their grandmother's fathers hat.

Hope they'll appreciate it like we appreciate the hats of yore that we collect.

Suits you well, Steve. Sometimes you have to try something new.

Excellent, Fabio.
AM/PM Panama from Panama Bob, finished by Art Fawcett; my favorite!!

View attachment 181247 The clouds and rain are back, for one day, so I jumped at the chance to grab a jacket and my hidden, almost forgotten, Cavanagh Homburg. I left the center crease but added some pinches up front.

Perfection, Doug! Nothing like a good homburg.

Royal Stetson NMN (No Model Name). Sure looks like an OR to me!

Beautiful, Randy. Looks very smooth.

Splendid, Scott. I like the shallow, almost flat, flange on that one.

Tonak "Triumf" possibly late 1940s. I believe this hat is made of Wool. It's from my NOS Czech find of June 2015. I am not sure the source because all hat companies were combined as Tonak and my guess is that stock (hoods, capelines, semi finished hats, finished hats) was moved from closed companies and branded as Tonak.

It also has a canvas sweatband. This was somewhat common in the wartime era.

Tonak / Janyška & Cie from right after WWII. This is an example of a bulk shipping container that was common in Europe going back to late 19th Century. Janyška & Cie is using the nationalized name Tonak. This box is from the same June 2015 Czech NOS find and it's possible the above hat was sent in this box from Tonak / Janyška & Cie in the late 1940s.

Wonderful, Steve. They sure knew how to work wonders with wool back in the day.

Well, guys, gals and platter pals, it seems we made it to Thursday. Thin Ribbon Thursday, even.

Venturing out in the morning rain under a hat from an independent. This is the Glenburnie.

Breathtaking, Ken!
This Royal Stetson was my first Vintage hat. Sent me down the Rabbit Hole as many have said here in the FL.

It's easy to why that hat got you hooked: stunning.

Navy Disney today. Love the triple stitched overwelt brim treatment.
