Did Charlie share your birthday Alan? So remiss of me not to congratulate you both. It would seem that the month of May has some very important dates. Today, May 4th, 51 years ago, it was also a Saturday, I know because Tina & I walked down the aisle together. We are keeping it low key, a meal out today and joining friends tomorrow. I shall wear my linen suit, as long as the rain holds off, and I will top it off with Esther's Strat clone. Tina is going to surprise me, (she says.)

Congrats on your wedding anniversary GHT! 51 years, eh? That deserves respect! Used to be in my town the mayor came to visit on 50th wedding anniversaries. Now there's a tradition to keep in place.
Unless the surprise is bungee jumping, looks like you're ready for it. Excellent! Enjoy.

Thank you for the wedding anniversary greetings, she renewed my papers. She surprised me with a picture of a hat that she's converting from the original. It looked like a high crown fedora, but it's currently a work in progress.

A Friday cap day.

A vtg. Stetson Playboy was my hat choice yesterday afternoon. The light weight felt was a perfect pairing to the first short sleeve shirt day this spring.

As the evening approached I switched to a Gannon (bone beaver felt).

This morning I wore Charles Dukek's hat. Stetson presented him the hat after "years of service." This 7X Clear Beaver felt is glorious! I tip my brim in Mr. Dukek's honor this morning.
