Nice find, Michael. Can't complain at that price. I'm still enamoured by your tie by the way. The colour of your outward ride Stetson nicely matched the brown of your tie. The lighter shade of your newly found, one dollar Panama subtly contrasts the darkness of the tie while at the same time complementing the colour of the flowers on it. Cudos.

There is a lot of work in that luck. Ha ha. No great shakes of a hat, but the straw is supple and that nice open weave should be cool. Will probably see a lot of wear this summer.

I'm liking the tie, too. This is the first time I've worn it.

Did Charlie share your birthday Alan? So remiss of me not to congratulate you both. It would seem that the month of May has some very important dates. Today, May 4th, 51 years ago, it was also a Saturday, I know because Tina & I walked down the aisle together. We are keeping it low key, a meal out today and joining friends tomorrow. I shall wear my linen suit, as long as the rain holds off, and I will top it off with Esther's Strat clone. Tina is going to surprise me, (she says.)

Today it seems to be the first serious storm on the north part of Verona

I was in the garden of my office and thunders, winds a sand in the air were ntroducing the storm

Nothing happened and the Borsalino Qualità Superiore remains on my head

It is a size 6 1/2 or 60 cm in US is 7 1/5. It came along with others Borsalino the last summer in a lucky find

Very tender and light hat, it weights 65 grams. Sold in Lodi near Milano it has no paper label
