A beauty, Max. The one who wrote the size on the liner deserves a flogging though.

Thank you, Steve. The temperature going down today was the big relief this week: I don't function too well with temps running above 30 degrees C.
I love sun and high temperatures, Stefan. Amazed though you can still wear those jackets and ties. I've had to ditch mine.

Today....celebrating the return of my missing Chocolate Rowboat Nutria. It’s been a tough month without it! Lol
If it were a snake.....
Be well and see well.

I can see why you're happy about the return of that Stetson Nutria, Bowen. Great bow flow among other wonderful things about that lid. Seems to have been made for you, too.

Reminds me i’m still smarting from coming up short on a Pepto Bismol pink one a couple years ago. Wanted to give it to my daughter.

Wow! Would love to have seen that one. I think @carouselvic has a navy one but with my memory, not sure. I've pretty much assumed mine came with a ribbon similar to yours. Wish mine had kept it w/o the wide sweat stain I had to cover. Came with a tiny leather band with mini sterling ranger buckle.

Rusty, crusty old Stetson Panama. If your Panama's need conditioning, bring them on over and we'll sit on the bench and have a beer. With this humidity, by the time we need another beer, we'll be reshaping crowns. Nothing wrong with the dog. That bald patch you see on her back is what happens when lady B asks for my assistance in grooming the poor beast.

Umm...a stain like this??
This band came on “Ol blood and guts” No.1. The silver was black when i got it. Think the leather caused the staining.
But a dollar well spent.
Wish i’d have kept pics of the pinky!

Ps: totally messed up those pics sorry

Thanks Brent.

Michael, Great look as usual! I believe Manfred's Rehfus & Cie. Zyphyr was ~ 113 grams with sweatband and liner so without liner ~ 103 grams. The 70 grams printed on the liner was just the felt without sweatband and liner. My Negretti "Adonis" ~ 108 grams without liner.

Rehfus & Cie. "Zyphyr" liner with "70 gramm".

Thanks for the great info, Steve.

I may have said it before, but that is one of your best straws, Michael.
Thanks Stefan. I'll agree. it's probably my oldest panama, too.

Last few days were straw hat days for sure. Today I was glad to be able to wear a felt again.

Great looks. Super pug on the Huber's. Felt hat weather?? I thought you were supposed to be hitting Fahrenheit 451 there or something?

Thanks,
Michael

Thanks, Michael. Temperatures seem to be yoyo-ing all over the place over here right now.

Great sage green colour on that Stratoliner, Brent. The contrasting aubergine coloured brim binding bring it out nicely. The thin ribbon looks like the same colour as the binding, but that line just above it suggests there once was a wider ribbon on it. Is that the case?

Bet you a dollar the line is from the sweat band.
Usually... not always that happens when a hat is stored stacked on or in another hat, or when a too small hat is worn on a too big of a head.
And sometimes when the felt is really thin and pliable the top of the sweat line will transfer to the outside of the crown.

Okay, It's been a 25 week so far, but I just had to get out the 100 today. This hat is so amazing, I changed the crown crease in about 5 minutes when I first arrived at work this morning! I tried another horsehair hat band today, also with tassels! The one yesterday generated so many comments, I thought we'd see what we could come up with today!
