I really like the color.
Stole it from Barney the Dinosaur, Bill. That's why he's hatless and whines so much.

Thanks Steve. I've got a couple of his jackets. Sorry to say, though, that I almost always put more weight on the fashion advice of beautiful young women that are standing in front of me than internet connections. Ha ha.

Maybe I should have used some capitalization. I meant Kind of Blue mood. Nothing like a little trumpet and sax to put me in a So What mood.

Today it's

Cloud cover 'til about 11 am.

I lost about $10 dollars today, and also had to pay 1/4 of the breakfast check.
Sliding handicaps are hell, especially after you turn 60, and your game starts to deteriorate. [emoji22]

I've been thinking about that. My 45 year old co-worker really could use a good drubbing after some recent back-biting. I don't see ANY kind of handicap available on the scorecard though.

Sitting in my balcony, resisting the urge to smoke and listening to Ana's hummingbirds squable over the last remaining feeder. They're voracious!
I swear they come from miles around. They even peck the window in protest when the liquid runs out. I didn't know that hummingbirds' wings made so much noise.

Wearing an Optimo Melusine. Shiny and soft.

Nice shape, colour, brim size, wide ribbon and bow, Rehat. What's to be in doubt about?

And, to be honest, the hat's even better than I let on.
What percentage of fedoras would you estimate wear brim up this well? It has to be in the top 25th percentile.

I want to see more maroon ribbons around here. I can't remember one I didn't like. On that Optimo though, who couldn't like it?

Loving this new for me WWII era Kami (Karl Misik) Seems to work with the brim up or snapped down. It also has the iconic look of a hat from that period of European history.

I particularly like the original bow style.

That's a great hat! Stronger ribbon on the leading side than one usually sees, too.
