Yes, I have a lot of catching up to do. The remodel did come to an end, but so did my back. Blew it out moving back in (probably a box of books), then off to limp around New Orleans. I have some great images to post in that thread. The hat room is basically the same, just more organized.

Great to see you, Red! Things haven’t been same without your positive energy. Enjoyed the pics at Meyer the Hatter. Haven’t had an opportunity to make it down the the hat store yet, but it’s on my list the next time I’m in NOLA. Take it slow with the back. 800mg Ibuprofen every 12 hours and lots of rest usually does it for me. [emoji6]

Fabulous looking hat, Eric. For a moment there I thought the last pic was of Max's hat room :)

Thanks. I do not dare to think of Max's gorgeous cabinets.

Either envy or the delusional thought to compete with those cabinets and their contents could drive a hat aficionado crazy. I choose not to think of Max's gorgeous cabinets, rather appreciate his posts of the dynamite hats.

How is your hat auditorium?

Well, I am actually posting from back home in SF, but my last stop in NYC this morning was at JJ Hat Center. I didn't buy anything, the other hat in my hand is my Penman that I had wanted to get customized by their in house milliner, Van Hyunh. Unfortunately, due to a fire in the adjacent building, their hat workshop is currently closed. Bummer! The hat on my head is my 40's Stetson Junior Cowboy.

I was in that very spot a couple weeks ago. Didn’t buy anything either, just browsed the shop briefly. Van Hyunh was off when I was there.

Wow! I want a hat room like that, Mike. Congrats. Hats, books, and theatre. I think we have a thing or three in common [emoji4].
Hope your back gets better soon.

Theater? I'm involved with my local community theater here in Albany Oregon. I am presently stage managing the musical "The Addams Family".

I decided I had to get on the bicycle to run to the store. The wind was brutal, buy mostly normal to my travel vector. I left in my Canadian cap from 1952

My camera sees dirt a lot better than my eyes do. It's since been brushed away.

Found it at the Goodwill across the parking lot from the grocery. The former owner chose the proper field, but made an unfortunate choice in schools. Go Iowa. Ha ha.

Have a good afternoon,
Michael
